§1
Registering for a dance course is binding for the participant and obliges them to pay the fee.
§2
Course fees can be found in the current course programme. They are final prices per person, including any applicable statutory VAT.
§3
The course fee must be paid in full by bank transfer no later than 4 days before the course starts (payment received) or paid in cash at the start of the course before the first lesson. Otherwise, an additional processing fee of 10% of the purchase amount will be charged. Payment by direct debit is not possible. Vouchers and credits must be presented by the first lesson, otherwise they cannot be taken into account. For students and apprentices, we may grant a discount in certain cases and without acknowledging any legal obligation, upon presentation of the relevant proof by the first lesson.
§4
Registration is binding and obliges you to pay the full course fees. This also applies if you are unable to attend the classes through no fault of your own. Non-attendance, early withdrawal, or not making use of lessons does not release you from paying the full course fees.
§5
We reserve the right to cancel singles courses if there is a significant imbalance between men and women. We also reserve the right, if participants cancel before the course starts and this creates an imbalance, to remove participants from the course even after written confirmation. If enrolment is low, we reserve the right to merge courses or cancel them. We strive for a balanced ratio of men and women, but cannot guarantee this due to illness and last-minute cancellations.
§6
In a couples course, a discount may be granted on request if one of the two participants attended a significantly higher course level within the last year (at least two levels higher) with a different partner as a paying member.
§7
As a rule, we are not liable for material damage arising from any activities in the dance school premises, except where intent or gross negligence can be attributed to us or our agents. Unfortunately, we cannot accept liability for items left in the cloakroom.
§8
Smoking or making film recordings is prohibited in all rooms.
§9
By entering our premises, you expressly grant us the right to publish photo and video recordings made by us. The participant waives the assertion of copyright or any other rights related to images or recordings of their person.
§10
If contagious illnesses occur, the office must be notified immediately due to the risk of infection.
§11
All data is processed electronically for internal use only and, of course, treated confidentially. Changes to personal data must be reported to the office immediately.
§12
If one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions are or become invalid, this does not affect the validity of the Terms and Conditions or the remaining provisions. The statutory provision that comes closest to what was intended shall replace the invalid provision. This also applies in the event of an unintended gap in the provisions.
